As the Founder, President,Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Operating Officer, Chuck Forrest provides provides the strategic direction for KMEA. With a focus on safety and quality, the company has developed a team that provides experience and expertise on major project management, energy and sustainability, architecture and engineering, and environmental initiatives throughout the United States.
Before founding KMEA, Chuck was the senior engineer and an offshore drilling superintendent at Dual Drilling, at that time one of the largest drilling companies in the United States. Subsequently, Chuck spent more than a decade successfully turning around several business groups that were failing to meet expectations and were facing bankruptcy. These business turnarounds varied from architecture and engineering design-build telecommunication tower companies to electronic test equipment design and manufacture companies. He founded KMEA to focus on providing consulting management services for the buildout of the wireless infrastructure. Expanding the company from the utilities sector into the government sector, Chuck built strategic relationships with major service providers to grow KMEA into the premier consulting services provider it is today.
A graduate of the Virginia Military Institute, Chuck has served on several not-for-profit and government advisory boards in support of service-disabled veterans and their businesses including California Department of Veteran Affairs Disabled Veterans Business Advisory Board, United States General Services Administration Small Business Advisory Committee, Elite Service-Disabled Veteran Business Board of Directors, and California Utilities Diversity Council.
