KMG was founded in 2003 by its founder, Karim Ghonaim, as a technology distribution company with its headquarters in Cairo, Egypt
In 2004, the first contract was signed as an exclusive agent for Bandridge, which works in the field of accessories, cables and connections for technological products.
In 2005, an agency contract for Toshiba was signed as a distributor of technology products (laptops, copiers, projectors).
In 2006 an exclusive agency contract was signed with Trust, which operates in the accessories business
In 2008 an agency contract was signed with Bitdefender, which works in antivirus software.
In 2010 an agency contract was signed with Fujitsu as a laptop distributor.
In 2012, as a step in the company's development and expansion plan, some of the company's products such as (KMG GPS Navigator, Circle K Feature phone and K Touch Tablet) were launched
Continuing to expand, the company’s first regional office was opened abroad in 2014, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The year 2015 witnessed a major shift in the company's policy as it turned to the smart phone market to storm it with the contract of the first agency of the global Infinix company, the leading smartphone company, which achieved great success and occupied a competitive position for major companies in the Egyptian market.
To complement the success, an exclusive agency contract was signed in 2017 with the Meizu smartphone company.
With the company’s major expansion plan, another company headquarters was opened in central Cairo and a branch in Alexandria. It provides customer service branches in Cairo and Alexandria and soon in the Delta and Upper Egypt governorates with a staff of 100 employees.
And to complete the systematic development plan, in 2018, was contracted with OnePlus That one of the largest smartphones companies in the world
