KMM Precision Measuring traces its heritage to the pioneering innovation culture of Kaman Corporation, founded in 1945 by Charles H. Kaman. In 1957, the company expanded into advanced research with the formation of Kaman Sciences, tackling complex technical challenges for government and defense applications. By the early 1960s, this foundation gave rise to Kaman Instrumentation, where breakthrough non-contact measurement technologies—particularly eddy current sensing—were developed to meet the rigorous demands of aerospace and industrial systems.

Today, KMM builds on this legacy of innovation and precision engineering. Our solutions reflect decades of expertise in solving mission-critical measurement problems, enabling the world’s leading engineers to design, validate, and operate next-generation systems with confidence. Rooted in a history of technical excellence and purpose-driven innovation, we continue to advance sensing technologies that support high-performance applications and contribute to meaningful progress across critical industries.

At KMM, we don’t just supply components—we partner with our customers to solve complex technical problems, accelerate innovation, and reduce risk. Our solutions are trusted in applications where accuracy, reliability, durability, and consistency are paramount.

Driven by a culture of engineering excellence and customer focus, our team is committed to enabling breakthroughs that strengthen national security, advance exploration, and contribute to technologies that benefit society at large.
