Manfred Melk

Manfred Melk is currently the Betriebsleiter at Kraftwerke Mainz-Wiesbaden AG, overseeing a 110 MWel combined heat and power plant and two heating plants, managing a team of 21 employees. Prior to this, they served as a Betriebsingenieur at the same company from 1998 to 2004. Manfred also worked as an Ingenieur at Kraftanlagen Heidelberg from 1987 to 1989, where they participated in various conventional power plant and pipeline construction projects. They began their career as a Technischer Sachbearbeiter at Adam Opel AG from 1989 to 1998. Manfred holds a Diplom-Ingenieurin in Economics from FH Mainz and another in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Energy and Heating Technology from FH Darmstadt.
