Angelo Arias is currently the R&D Manager at Invivoscribe, bringing over a decade of combined academic and industry laboratory experience in molecular biology, including expertise in next-generation sequencing and PCR techniques. With a strong foundation built through a PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology from UC Davis, they have also worked as a staff scientist and have held various roles in training, project strategy, and scientific writing. Angelo’s past experiences include being a graduate student researcher, a biotechnician at Bayer, and an intern at ChemRisk, all of which have honed their problem-solving and communication skills. In addition to their scientific endeavors, Angelo is active in the arts, serving as a violinist for La Jolla Symphony and Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and as a board member for the San Diego Youth Symphony and Conservatory.
