Tom Hermans

Tom Hermans is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of Business Control and Head of Liquidity & Capital Management at Knab since November 2021. In this role, Tom leads the Liquidity and Capital Management team, focusing on managing the liquidity and capital position, balance sheet planning and optimization, and overseeing target asset and funding mix strategies. Prior to Knab, Tom held the position of Senior Capital Manager at Aegon Nederland from March 2021 to November 2021, having previously worked at Aegon in various roles related to Capital and Financial Risk Management from September 2015 to March 2021. Tom holds a Master's degree in Finance and Investments from RSM Erasmus Universiteit, along with a Bachelor's degree in International Business from Maastricht University and an exchange degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship from The University of Queensland. Academic background also includes completion of the Atheneum program at Pius-X College Bladel.
