Tom Ooms

Tom Ooms is an experienced professional in risk management with a current position as the Head of Non-Financial Risk Management at Knab since May 2021. In this role, Tom leads the development of a robust non-financial risk management framework. Previously, Tom served as the Head of Enterprise Risk Management at Knab, where responsibilities included supporting the Chief Risk Officer in managing strategic risks. Tom’s career at PwC Nederland included roles as an Enterprise Risk Manager and Senior Manager of Risk Assurance, focusing on IT risk and controls auditing. Additionally, Tom held various positions at PwC Nederland, starting as a Junior Associate and progressing to Manager. Tom has contributed to professional organizations, serving as the Chairman of the Board at NBA Young Profs and Vice-chairman of the VAS. Tom's educational background includes degrees in Accountancy and IT-Auditing & Advisory from Nyenrode Business University and Erasmus University Rotterdam.
