Alex Gerig

Alex Gerig has been working in the technology industry since 2015. Alex began their career as a Computer Lab Support/Consultant at The University of South Dakota. In 2018, they joined Lawrence & Schiller as a Web Developer Intern and then a Web Developer, where they worked on projects for small and medium sized clients, including the State of South Dakota. Alex converted static designs into responsive sites using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, ensuring proper accessibility, performance, and cross-browser compatibility. In 2020, Alex moved to Carsforsale.com as a Frontend Engineer, and in 2022, they joined Knack as a Frontend Engineer.

Alex Gerig attended Illinois Eastern Community Colleges-Wabash Valley College from 2011 to 2014, where they earned an Associate of Science degree in Diesel Mechanics Technology/Technician. Alex then attended the University of South Dakota from 2015 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
