Earlier in career, Rus worked as a Design Engineer at Swift-Atlanta, INC, a Customer Service Manager at DatasonicCorp, and as an Electronic Technician at Campbell Electronics. Rus holds an Associate's degree in Electronics from State Technical College of Missouri, earned in 1977.
