Fiona McCarthy

Fiona McCarthy has extensive experience in the Human Resources field. Fiona began their career in 1985 as a Buyer/Planner at Digital Equipment Corporation. Fiona then moved to Analog Devices in 1991 as a Senior Manager in HR. In 1994, they were hired as an HR Manager at AST Computer, where they were responsible for Talent Acquisition and Development. From 1995 to 1998, they worked as a Senior Change Management Consultant at Boston Scientific, where they led the implementation of SAP into the Manufacturing facilities in Ireland. From 1998 to 2006, they held various HR positions at Dell, including Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Compensation and Benefits, and HRG roles. From 2006 to 2014, they worked as an Executive HR Director in EMEA Operations and an HR Business Partner in Global Operations at Dell. Most recently, they have been the Chief People and Culture Officer at Kneat Solutions since 2021.

Fiona McCarthy's education history includes an MBA from the University of Limerick, obtained between 1989 and 1991, with a focus on Business, Accounting, Tax, and Marketing. Between 1987 and 1989, they obtained a Post Grad Diploma in Computer Systems Analysis from the University of Galway. Fiona also obtained a BA - Hons in Economics from University College Cork between 1981 and 1984. In addition, they hold certifications in APICS, Certificate in Purchasing, Certification in French language and culture from L'institute Catholique de Paris, Facilitation Skills, First Aid, and Internal Auditor.
