Jason Murphy

Jason Murphy has over 6 years of work experience in software development and quality assurance. Jason started as an Engineering Intern at Swrve in 2015 and later worked as a Q.A. and Automation Engineer at Symantec in 2017. Jason then worked as a Software Development Engineer at Netwatch System and moved on to become a Graduate QA Engineer, QA Engineer, and Software Development Engineer In Test at CR2 from 2018 to 2022. In 2022, they joined PTC as a QA Automation Engineer and eventually became a Software Automation Test Engineer at Kneat Solutions in 2023.

Jason Murphy earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Games Development from the Institute of Technology, Carlow between the years 2012 and 2016. Prior to this, they attended Mountmellick Community School from 2007 to 2012. In addition, they obtained several certifications including Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) from Scrum.org in July 2021 and Grade 3 and Grade 1 in Drums from RSL (Rockschool Ltd) in March 2018 and April 2016 respectively.
