Bas Bogaard

Bas Bogaard is a seasoned field hockey coach currently serving as the Head Coach of the HGC first ladies team since August 2024. With extensive experience in various coaching roles within the Netherlands Hockey Federation (KNHB) since July 2015, Bas has contributed as an assistant coach for both the Netherlands ladies U21 and U18 teams, as well as the head coach for the Netherlands U16 and U15 teams. Previous coaching positions include Head Coach of the first men's team at NMHC Nijmegen from September 2017 to July 2024, and various roles at Hockeyclub Schaerweijde and the Croatian Hockey Federation, including Head Coach of the Croatian national men's team. Bas Bogaard has formal education in management, real estate, and sports management, providing a strong foundation for a diverse coaching career.
