Stijn Geraets

Stijn Geraets is an experienced orthopedic surgeon and trauma specialist currently serving as an orthopedic surgeon at Anna Zorggroep and as a high-performance expert for Team NL within NOC*NSF since January 2022. In addition, Stijn holds roles as team physician for the Dutch men's hockey team and is a member of the medical committee at KNHB since October 2021. Previous experience includes fellowships in pediatric orthopedics at Sint Maartenskliniek and Radboudumc, as well as participation in a traveling fellowship focused on sports orthopedics in November 2021. Stijn completed medical leadership training through the Talentenklas medisch leiderschap and has held various positions as an orthopedic surgery resident. Stijn holds an MD from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
