Knight Communications is a specialized managed IT services provider (MSP) dedicated to the mission-critical needs of local governments and public safety agencies. Based in the Los Angeles area, we bridge the gap between enterprise-grade infrastructure and specialized technology required for municipal operations.

We understand that in local government, technology downtime is not just an inconvenience; it impacts the essential services that keep a community running. Our team provides 24/7/365 support with the responsiveness of an internal IT department and the deep technical expertise of an industry-leading MSP.

Our Core Expertise:

Local Government Infrastructure: Comprehensive management of high-availability networks, server clusters, and mission-critical storage solutions for municipal facilities.

Police Vehicle Technology and Outfitting: Full-cycle installation, retrofit, and maintenance of mobile hardware, including Mobile Data Computers (MDCs), FirstNet cellular routers, docking stations, and antennas.

Application and Connectivity: Advanced support for CAD/RMS systems and secure NetMotion/Absolute VPN provisioning to ensure field units and municipal staff remain connected.

Cybersecurity and Compliance: Strict adherence to CJIS (Criminal Justice Information Services) security protocols and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework to protect government data.

Strategic Maintenance: Expert management of critical facilities, performing zero-disruption maintenance within strict change management disciplines for local agencies.

At Knight Communications, we do not just manage technology; we support the lifelines that keep our local governments and communities safe and operational.
