ASHWIN SHASIKUMAR

Ashwin Shasikumar is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at ABB Traction with 12 years of experience in the design and development of powertrain systems for gasoline and diesel engines. They have worked extensively on electric motor inverter systems and various components for mining machines. Previously, Ashwin held positions at Epiroc, where they focused on powertrain components and systems, as well as at Mahindra Automotive, where they led projects on exhaust after treatment systems and gasoline engines. Ashwin began their career with an internship at DRDO, where they designed and analyzed aerofoil structures for unmanned aerial vehicles. They hold a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Amrita Institute of Technology Science.
