Rafał Płonka

Rafał Płonka has been working in the software engineering industry since 2012. Rafał began their career as a Junior C++ Developer at Berrylife, where they worked on mobile applications for large panels. In 2015, they completed their Bachelor's Thesis as an Android Developer at Mediaflex. In 2016, they worked as an Android Developer at Ready4S, where they were the Android Project Leader and was responsible for developing commercial applications for clients. In 2017, they became the Lead Android Developer at Zappmeet - Meet your friends, where they were responsible for developing a native Android social planning application. In 2019, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Bronova, where they were responsible for developing Flutter mobile applications with the Android and iOS native channels written in Kotlin and Swift. Rafał was also contributing to Reactive Web Development in Svelte and the Backend side in TypeScript, Node.js. Rafał also has their own company, Apollo Solutions, which created the Punny Pun Times video app for a client in Dubai. In 2021, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer at Knips, where they are responsible for Flutter, Node.js, and Svelte development.

Rafał Płonka obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science - Software Engineering from Jagiellonian University between 2013 and 2017. Prior to that, they obtained an IT Technician degree from Upper - Secondary Schools of Communications in Cracow between 2009 and 2013. Additionally, they have obtained Certificates in Advanced English Level C1 from Jagiellońskie Centrum Językowe, Certificate in Japanese Level A1 from Muzeum Sztuki i Techniki Japońskiej "Manggha", and Git Real and Git Real 2 Certificates from Code School.
