Chuck Allen

Chuck Allen has held a variety of executive roles in the technology, energy, services, franchising and resource sectors. Chuck began their career in 1999 as President of Brightstone Capital Corp., where they provided consulting and advisory services to domestic and global companies. In 2005, they were hired as President of New Dawn Mining and was responsible for transforming the company into a publicly listed one. In 2008, they became President & CEO of Oneworld Energy Inc., a diversified renewable energy company, and then in 2011 they were appointed Cleantech and Technology Advisor at MaRS Discovery District. From 2014-2015, they worked as Managing Partner at Diversis Energy and then in 2016 became CEO of Ommatee, where they were tasked with transforming the company into an operating business. In 2018, they were appointed CEO of knnct Markets Corp., where they lead a fully automated, cloud-based Matching as a Service platform using AI. Finally, in 2014 they were appointed Chief Executive Officer of Gedex Inc., a company with a unique and commercially scalable imaging technology and mapping solution.

Chuck Allen obtained a B.Ed. in Economics from the University of Alberta, followed by an LLB in Corporate and Corporate Finance from the same university. Chuck then attended the University of Calgary.
