Brian Berns has a long and successful career in the software industry. Brian began their career in 1989 as Vice President and General Manager of Spectrum Concepts. Brian then moved to Proginet, where they co-founded the company and served as an executive. In 1995, they became General Manager of Anchor Computer, providing solutions to direct marketers. From 1997 to 1999, they served as Vice President of Sales for Popkin Software and QueryObject Systems. In 2001, they became Senior Vice President for North America at Brio Software, where they grew revenue during an economic downturn and acquired by Hyperion (now Oracle). In 2004, they joined Fair Isaac as Vice President and was also a Founding Member and Executive at Certona, an AI-based real-time personalization solution. From 2006 to 2014, they were President and COO of Ericom Software, managing the company to profitability while introducing successful new products. Finally, they served as CEO and Chairman of Knoa Software from 2014 to present, a Task Mining and Digital Experience Analytics solution that measures and manages how end-users are utilizing enterprise applications.
Brian Berns obtained a BS from Yeshiva University, followed by a MS from New York University. Brian also attended NYU Stern School of Business and the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at New York University, where they studied Computer Science.
