Jen Strain began their career in the mortgage industry in an entry-level position and progressed through various roles including processor, underwriter, and loan officer. After the real estate market crash in 2010, they worked as a forensic underwriter, contributing to a significant settlement for an insurance company. In 2014, they joined Silverton Mortgage, where they rose to Vice President of Operations, overseeing the daily functions of processing, underwriting, and closing. Currently, as the Vice President of Lending Operations for Knock, Jen is focused on creating innovative home loan products that facilitate the purchase of new homes using the equity of existing properties. Jen also recently added real estate sales to their extensive finance experience.
