Chris Field has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Software Developer at Affinity Solutions from 2002 to 2005. Chris was responsible for software development and also served as the technical lead and sysadmin. During this time, they led the complete rebuild of the company's core platform.

Following that, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at MTM Technologies from 2005 to 2007, where they developed network monitoring and VOIP Centrex platforms. Chris also managed the fleet of network monitoring endpoints and connectivity.

In 2007, Chris joined New York Life Insurance Company as a Software Engineer and later became a Tech Lead. Chris was responsible for engineering and software development within the unified communications group. Chris played a significant role in designing and building Cisco's first fully virtualized production call center VOIP platform. Chris also developed C# desktop apps for integration and remote control of desktop phones.

In 2008, Chris briefly worked as a Software Engineer at VaultIt Inc.

Chris then rejoined New York Life Insurance Company in 2012 as a Tech Lead, leading a team of engineers in developing and supporting the corporate lead management system. Chris introduced improvements like a configurable and modular performance algorithm and a bulk assignment process.

In 2014, Chris co-founded a start-up called Knocking, where they were responsible for the full product life cycle and system architecture of the initial mobile app product. Chris currently serves in an advisory capacity to the team.

Finally, they returned to New York Life Insurance Company in 2016 as an Engineering Manager responsible for leading teams in building new digital experiences and tools for agents and clients. Chris also managed integrations for the company's new core CRM platform.

Overall, Chris Field has extensive experience in software development, engineering management, and leading complex projects. Their expertise spans various industries, including insurance, technology, and start-ups.

Chris Field attended the University of Maryland from 1995 to 2001. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology.
