Knot & Purl is a community-focused DIY craft studio located in Newton Highlands, Massachusetts. The studio was created to provide a welcoming space where people of all ages can slow down, work with their hands, and connect through creativity.

We offer open crafting sessions, guided workshops, kids programs and camps, and private events for families, friends, and community groups. Our experiences are designed to be approachable and flexible, supporting both first-time makers and experienced crafters with curated materials, project ideas, and a supportive studio environment.

At the core of Knot & Purl is a belief that creativity is about process, presence, and joy. Whether guests are joining us for an afternoon of open crafting, celebrating a milestone, or participating in a multi-week program, our goal is to create meaningful, shared creative experiences.

Knot & Purl is independently owned and operated, with a strong emphasis on thoughtful programming, community partnerships, and sustainable growth. As the studio continues to evolve, we remain committed to creating inclusive creative experiences that bring people together — one project at a time.
