Ellie Tanaka

Ellie Tanaka has a diverse work experience starting from 2011. Ellie worked as a Childcare Counselor at Associated Recreation Council from March 2011 to June 2014. Following that, they worked as a Photographer at GradImages from April 2011 to July 2016. In September 2015, they joined Wallingford Child Care Center as a Lead Preschool Teacher and worked there until February 2017. Ellie then took a role as an English Language Teacher at Volunteers Colombia from February 2017 to August 2017. In 2018, they became a Graphic Design Student at Seattle Central Creative Academy, where they stayed until June 2020. Meanwhile, they interned as a Graphic Design Intern at Seattle Symphony from June 2019 to September 2019. In 2020, Ellie held multiple positions including Visual Designer at Lopa Inc. from September 2020 to December 2020, UX/UI Design Lead at Our National Conversation (ONC) from September 2020 to March 2021, and UX/UI Designer at Juva Health from October 2020 to March 2021. Currently, they are working as a Visual User Experience Designer at Knowable since March 2021, and they were promoted to the role of Visual User Experience Designer II in July 2022.

Ellie Tanaka attended Seattle Central College from 2018 to 2020, where they pursued an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Graphic Design. Prior to that, they studied at the University of Washington from 2010 to 2014, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Interdisciplinary Visual Arts and Philosophy.
