Lynette Shaw has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Lynette is currently working at Knowable as a Lead Data Scientist, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Scientist at Knowable from January 2021 to March 2023.

Lynette also served as a Lecturer and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the same university from September 2016 to September 2017.

Before their academic career, Lynette pursued their PHD at the University of Washington from 2008 to 2016. Lynette also gained experience at various organizations such as MAXIMUS, where they worked as a State Reporting Analyst and an Administrative Coordinator from April 2008 to January 2009 and July 2007 to April 2008, respectively. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Coordinator at EnviroIssues from September 2006 to March 2007 and as a Stormwater Stewardship Program Coordinator, Americorps at the City of Portland from October 2005 to August 2006.

Lynette Shaw's education history begins in 2001, when they enrolled at The University of Texas at Austin. Lynette completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Physics and Sociology in 2005. In 2008, they continued their education at the University of Washington, pursuing a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Sociology. Lynette successfully obtained their MA degree in 2011. Lynette Shaw continued their studies at the University of Washington, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Sociology in 2016.
