Denise Guzman

Denise Guzman, Esq. is an experienced legal professional who has held various roles in trade compliance and international trade consultancy. Denise is currently the Senior Compliance Counsel and Vice President at KnowBe4. Prior to that, they were the Director of Global Trade Compliance at Carlisle Interconnect Technologies, where they led the trade compliance function for the US and Mexico. Before that, they served as the Export Compliance Legal Advisor at HOERBIGER, overseeing export compliance for the Americas.

Denise also has extensive experience in export compliance at Honeywell Aerospace, where they led the aftermarket licensing group and optimized the export compliance program for multiple US sites. Earlier in their career, they worked as an International Trade Consultant at the US Department of Commerce, assisting companies with entering foreign markets and providing accurate interpretations of export regulations. Denise also had a brief role in the People and Culture department at Discovery Channel.

Denise Guzman, Esq. obtained a B.S. degree in International Business and Economics from Auburn University in the years 1998 to 2001. Denise then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business from the University of Puerto Rico from 2005 to 2007. After that, they attended the University of Puerto Rico, School of Law from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Juris Doctor degree.
