Erik Nelson has extensive work experience across multiple companies. Erik currently holds the role of Executive Vice President at KnowBe4, where they focus on optimizing the Enterprise and Federal businesses and building a Global Accounts program. Prior to this, Erik worked as an Advisor at Carve Consulting. Erik also has a long history with Salesforce, where they held various positions including Area Vice President, Vice President of Sales, and Global Account Director. Before Salesforce, Erik worked at Apttus as a Strategic Enterprise Sales Leader. Erik also has experience at Google as a Sales Manager and at Microsoft as an Enterprise Salesperson. Additionally, they worked at nGenera Corporation as a Sales Director, at Oracle USA, Inc. in various roles including Solution Sales Representative and Technical Team Lead, and at Cerner Corporation as a Regional Branch Accountant. Throughout their career, Erik has achieved notable accomplishments and recognitions, including being named South Central Salesperson of the year at Microsoft.

Erik Nelson attended Liverpool High School from 1987 to 1991. Erik then went on to study at Boston College from 1991 to 1995, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Information Systems from the Wallace E. Carroll School of Management. In 1994, Erik also participated in a semester abroad program at Syracuse University in Madrid, Spain.
