John Just

John Just has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. John began their career as an IT Project Coordinator at Penn State University in 1998 before becoming the Director of Technology at Renewlife from 2001 to 2003. From 2003 to 2006, they served as the Technology Coordinator at Palm Harbor University High School. John then worked as a Web Design Instructor at Florida Virtual School from 2006 to 2007. John went on to become the Assistant Superintendent, MIS (CIO) at Pinellas County Schools from 2007 to 2012. Following this, they joined nThrive as the Senior Vice President, Education Solutions from 2012 to 2018. Currently, John is the Chief Learning Officer at KnowBe4, where they lead teams in creating engaging training content to educate individuals and organizations about cybercrime prevention.

John Just completed their education with a Doctor of Education degree in Instructional Technology & Distance Education from Nova Southeastern University in the years 2007 to 2012. Prior to that, they pursued a Masters degree in Instructional Technology from the University of South Florida from 2003 to 2005. John'sBachelor's degree in Science, Technology, & Society was obtained from Penn State University during the years 1995 to 2001. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications in Security Awareness and Culture Professional (SACP) from H Layer Credentialing in November 2021, Basics of Inclusive Design for Online Education from the University of Colorado Boulder in an unspecified year, and Gamification from The Wharton School in 2012.
