Stephanus Yang

Stephanus Yang has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Stephanus started their career as a Legal Intern and Legal Clerk at Anchor Glass Container Corporation in 2009. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as an Intellectual Property Attorney at Maxey-Fisher, PLLC, specializing in patent, trademark, and copyright applications. Stephanus then joined Raymond James Financial Inc. in 2014 as a Contract Analyst/Attorney in the Corporate Procurement Department, where they drafted and negotiated various commercial contracts. In the same year, they also worked as an Attorney at Lee Law Group, PLLC, advising clients on intellectual property matters and business litigation. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Citigroup Global Markets Inc. as Counsel and Assistant Vice President, handling agreements and providing legal support globally. Stephanus then joined American Express Global Business Travel in 2018 as an Associate Counsel in the General Counsel's Office, focusing on negotiating and closing agreements for travel services and new business initiatives. Their most recent position, starting in 2020, is at KnowBe4, where they have progressively taken on roles as Corporate Counsel and Senior Corporate Counsel, primarily focusing on managing the company's intellectual property portfolio and providing legal advice on intellectual property matters.

Stephanus Yang obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Stetson University College of Law in 2009. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York, from 2003 to 2005. Stephanus also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from the same institution, which they completed from 1999 to 2003. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Prompt Engineering for LLMs from Maven (obtained in 2023), Security Awareness and Culture Professional (SACP)™ from H Layer Credentialing (obtained in July 2022), and the Registered Patent Attorney certification from USPTO (obtained in 2010). Stephanus is also a licensed attorney with the Florida State Bar, which they obtained in 2009.
