Dr. Tom O'Bryan

Dr. Tom O'Bryan is currently the Chief Health Officer at KnoWEwell, a position they have held since February 2021. Prior to this, they founded TheDr.com in 1996, which is a global leader in functional medicine, supplements, and information on various health topics. Dr. Tom continues to serve as a physician and educator at TheDr.com.

Dr. O'Bryan has also held adjunct faculty instructor positions at The Institute for Functional Medicine, starting in April 2008 and September 2012. Dr. Tom has served on the International Scientific Advisory Board at Daivam Wellness Pvt Ltd. since November 2019. Additionally, they have been a member of the Medical Advisory Boards at the National Association of Nutritional Professionals since May 2012, Cancer Schmancer since April 2017, Functional Medicine University since May 2016, Functional Medicine Coaching Academy Inc. since February 2016, L-Nutra, Inc. since October 2019, and Sun Horse Energy since February 2012.

Dr. Tom O'Bryan received their Doctor of Chiropractic degree in Holistic Health from the National University of Health Sciences in 1980. Prior to that, they attended the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown.
