Eric Emmons

Eric Emmons has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Eric currently serves as a Managing Partner at MassMutual Ventures since May 2014. In this role, they manage $200M of investment capital across 2 funds, focusing on Series A to growth-stage software companies in fintech, enterprise SaaS, and cybersecurity sectors.

In addition to their role at MassMutual Ventures, Eric has held various other positions. Eric worked as a Director at Gradient AI since December 2018 and as a Director at Knowify since February 2021. Eric also served as a Board Observer at Embroker since August 2019 and at Prove since February 2018.

Before joining MassMutual Ventures, Eric held the role of Director at Picwell (acquired by Jellyvision) from June 2014 to December 2022. Eric also served as a Director at Limelight Health (acquired by Fineos) from July 2015 to August 2020. Prior to that, they worked as an Investment Partner/Head U.S. at Siemens Venture Capital (now renamed Next47) from April 2008 to May 2014.

Eric's earlier experiences include serving as a General Partner at the Massachusetts Green Energy Fund from September 2004 to March 2008, where they invested in renewable energy and clean energy companies. Before that, they worked as a Consultant at L.E.K. Consulting from September 2002 to September 2004.

Eric Emmons attended Paideia School from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained their high school degree. Later, from 2001 to 2002, Eric attended Harvard Business School, where they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance and Business Management.
