Daniel Maxstad

Daniel Maxstad is a Senior Legal Consultant at Knowit since May 2022, specializing in data protection and serving as a Data Protection Officer for financial institutions, pharmaceutical companies, private entities, and governmental agencies. Previously, Daniel worked as a Law Clerk at Förvaltningsrätten i Göteborg from November 2020 to April 2022, and as an Associate focused on IP/IT law at Front Advokater from August 2017 to November 2020, handling compliance, data protection audits, contracts, and litigation related to copyright and trademark law. Early career experiences include roles as a trainee referee with Göteborgs Fotbollsförbund and various positions with Kriminalvården and Bemannica. Daniel holds a Master of Laws degree from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg and has further education in Ethics, Intellectual Property, Law, and Psychology from Singapore Management University.
