Gunnar Larsen

Gunnar Larsen is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in IoT, hardware development, and engineering management. Currently serving as Head of Technology and Interim CTO at Knowit, Gunnar provides strategic leadership and oversees an internal Academy program for aspiring engineering leaders. Prior roles include Principal Engineer at Urban Sharing, where Gunnar architected successful city bike systems, and co-founder of ShareBike AS, which also won public tenders in Oslo. Additionally, Gunnar has held significant management positions at Cisco, Clear Channel Outdoor, and HP, demonstrating expertise in project management, team leadership, and the development of hardware and software solutions across various industries. Gunnar holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara, along with an engineering degree from the University of South-Eastern Norway.
