Sami Lehtinen

Sami Lehtinen has extensive experience in the IT industry, primarily focused on cloud computing and infrastructure. Sami is currently the Head of AWS Business Alliance for Knowit, where they lead the strategic collaboration with AWS to drive digital transformation in the Nordics. Prior to this, they were a Global Telco Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where they assisted a major global telecom operator in their journey to AWS and supported their business growth. Sami also worked at Cybercom Group as a Senior Cloud Advisor, helping key customers in the Nordics with cloud strategy, governance, and migration. Before that, they held various roles at Nokia, including Principal Engineer, Principal Systems Engineer, Senior Systems Engineer, Unix Manager, Product Manager, and Open Source Software Product Specialist. Sami began their career as a System Administrator at Tampereen Särkänniemi Oy. Throughout their career, Sami has been involved in defining cloud strategies, implementing DevOps practices, and delivering state-of-the-art cloud services.

Sami Lehtinen completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications and Electronics at Tampere Polytechnic University from 2001 to 2005. Sami then pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Information Technology at the same university from 2008 to 2009. Additionally, they hold various certifications including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional obtained in June 2021, AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty obtained in January 2020, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate obtained in December 2018, and AWS Certified Security - Specialty obtained in April 2019.
