Alessandro MacRi

Alessandro is an IT entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in IT Sales and Executive Management. In the early stages of his career, he worked at global corporations such as Canon, Xerox, and Mondadori Digital in his native country.

He then led for several years his own business, IdeaPc, which later became the largest Compaq servers provider in Southern Italy.

In 2011 he joined Dell, where he led the EdTech Business Development Team based in Montpellier (FR).

In 2013 he was recruited by Certiport, a Pearson VUE business active in industry certification development and distribution, as part of the EMEA Team, where he significantly contributed to the growth of the international business by signing many new partners and by starting several markets from scratch.

In 2018, he started an outsourcing IT Engineering business with Ana Macri, focusing on developing complex learning solutions for the EdTech industries.

Since 2019, he has been working as a freelance consultant for several global organizations, including the Leading Learning Partners Association, contributing to their growth by being in charge of the global sales and business development operations.

Alessandro is fluent in four languages and holds dual citizenship, dividing his life between Switzerland, England, and the United States of America with his wife and three kids.
