Umair Ali

Umair Ali has extensive experience in the education sector, currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors and Director of Outreach and Engagement at Knowledge Platform since July 2018. Umair has led significant projects aimed at transforming and digitizing education for over 8,000 students, 1,000 teachers, and 20,000 parents in Pakistan. Key projects include the Federal Directorate of Education-Middle School Program and the AKU-EB & KP powered Learn Smart Classroom. Prior positions include Outreach Manager and Zonal Lead, where Umair managed extensive educational initiatives across multiple provinces and worked closely with educational communities to enhance teaching methodologies. Umair holds a Master of Engineering in Mechatronics, Robotics, AI, and Automation Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Air University.
