Maja Maricevic currently serves as the Director of Science and Innovation at The British Library, a position held since August 2011, with prior roles including Head of Higher Education and Science, and Head of Higher Education. Maja is actively involved with CILIP as the Chair of the Green Libraries Partnership and is a member of the Advisory Board for the Building a Green Future at UK Research and Innovation. Additional board memberships include Knowledge Quarter and the Arts and Humanities Research Council, along with previous advisory contributions to UCL's Bartlett School of Environment, Energy and Resources. Maja's earlier career includes consulting at PwC UK and senior management at the London Development Agency. Educational qualifications encompass a Research Doctorate from UCL, a Master of Arts from the University of East Anglia, and a Bachelor of Arts from UCL.
