Michael Jenkins

Michael Jenkins has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Michael is currently the Chief Scientist at Knowmadics, where they lead a team in providing electromagnetic environment scanning services, vulnerability assessments, cyber analysis, technical surveillance, and more. Prior to this, they worked as a Strategic Defense Business Development Advisor at Overmatch, Inc. Michael founded Rogue Wolf Advanced Research LLC and served as the Chief Scientist. Michael also held the position of Director of Government Programs & Principal Scientist at a Spatial Computing and Mixed Reality Startup. At Pison, they served as a Principal Scientist and Director of Advanced Research Programs, as well as the Director of Human Factors. Michael worked as a Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist at Charles River Analytics. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Research Foundation of SUNY and as a Senior Industrial Engineering Consultant at More Effective Consulting. Michael also had experience as an IA/UX Freelance Consultant and Knowledge Manager at RSA The Security Division of EMC.

Michael Jenkins has a diverse education history. Michael obtained their PhD in Human Factors Engineering from the University at Buffalo, where they studied from 2008 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Bentley University from 2006 to 2008. During the same period at Bentley University, they also earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Human Factors in Information Design. Michael's undergraduate education was at Northeastern University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering from 2001 to 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Michael has acquired several certifications. Michael obtained their Private Pilot, Rotorcraft-Helicopter certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in January 2015. In March 2009, they earned an Open Water SCUBA Certification from NAUI Pacific Rim. Most recently, in October 2021, Michael became a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) through the Scrum Alliance. Lastly, they obtained an Adult CPR/AED Certification from the American Red Cross in February 2015.
