Ingimar Tomasson

Ingimar Tomasson is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Knowunity, where they are the product owner and core developer of the AI-powered learning assistant 'SchoolGPT.' Prior to this role, Ingimar was a Research Assistant at the Weierstrass Institute, where their paper on 'Universal Neural Optimal Transport' was accepted into ICML 2025. They also served as Vice President of BLISS e. V., organizing academic events and giving a talk on Automatic Differentiation. Ingimar has held positions such as Chief Technology Officer at a Stealth Mode Start-up, where they developed advanced LLM applications, and has also received a Best Paper Award from ASME for their work on ultrasonic imaging of turbine blades. They earned a Master of Science in Scientific Computing from Technische Universität Berlin and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from UCL.
