Daniel Heijne currently serves as the Chief Commercial Officer at KNWU since April 2023 and is the owner of Sustainable SportsLab, which focuses on developing strategic and creative marketing concepts to achieve brand and commercial goals. Previously, Daniel held various roles including Manager Sponsoring & Activation at HEMA, where Daniel was a member of the Marketing Management Team, and held interim positions at KLM in Sponsoring & Partnerships and Manager Folder & Instore. Daniel has experience in strategic partnerships and brand development as demonstrated during tenure with Team Earth Pro Cycling, aiming to promote sustainability in professional cycling. Additional experience includes project management at DeWeerelt van Sport and sponsor management roles at ING Nederland, contributing to significant sponsorships in Dutch football and other sports. Daniel's educational background includes a Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from the University of Groningen, complemented by further studies at TIAS School for Business and Society.
