Otu Daniel has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2013, they started their career at COSMO SEAFOODS, where they worked as a Quality Assurance specialist until 2015. In 2017, they interned at Rousselot, gaining experience in Research and Development. In 2018, Otu joined Taste CocoA Ghana Ltd as a Factory Manager, a role they held until 2020. Currently, they are the Director of Operations and Production at Koa Switzerland & Ghana, a position they have held since March 2020.
Otu Daniel obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Nutrition, Food Safety, Food Science, Community Nutrition, and Biochemistry from the University of Ghana. Otu attended the university from 2005 to 2009.
From 2014 to 2017, Otu Daniel pursued Occupational Safety and Health Training, specializing in the General Industry, at OSHAcademy, Geigle Safety Group Inc., USA. During this time, they received the OSH Professional certification.
In 2015, Otu Daniel enrolled in Wageningen University & Research, where they earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Food Technology and Processing. Otu completed their master's program in 2017.
In addition to their formal education, Otu Daniel obtained several certifications. Otu became an OSH Professional through OSHAcademy Safety and Health Training in October 2017. Otu also received the MSc Food Technology certification from Wageningen University & Research in August 2017. In April 2013, Otu Daniel obtained the Certified Food Safety HACCP Manager (CFSHM) certification from RSPH Qualifications.
