Ryan Hazelwood

Ryan Hazelwood is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in news operations and production. Currently serving as News Director at KOAA5 since September 2017, Ryan oversees the daily news operations and strategic direction of the news department. As the Owner and CEO of AgX Ideas since January 2004, Ryan provides creative services including print ads, corporate videos, commercials, and photography. Ryan previously worked as News Director at KVII-TV, where responsibilities included managing a $1.5 million budget and enhancing newsroom productivity. Ryan's background also includes roles as a Broadcast Engineer and Instructor at West Texas A&M University, Managing Producer at Crozier & Henderson Productions, and Photojournalist at multiple television stations. Ryan holds a Master's degree in Corporate Communication and a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications from West Texas A&M University.
