Koda Communications is one of Israel’s most innovative production companies, recognized as a powerhouse of creativity and management, as well as an executive force of cutting-edge products for the television industry. Founded by Ram Landes in 2006, the company has made a name for itself as a one-stop-shop for critically acclaimed content and has gained a reputation for its role in revolutionizing genres. Koda’s endeavors include operation and management of studios and postproduction.
Mr. Landes, a member of the founding team of Channel 2 News and founder, manager, and editor-in-chief of Israel’s Channel 10 News, carefully selected a team of highly experienced creators, editors and producers to generate engaging and quality content for a wide range of target audiences. Koda’s production portfolio is rich and diverse, ranging from original Drama Series, Documentaries, Children’s programming and Daily Soaps, to News, Lifestyle shows and Reality TV.
Koda’s international activity started with the groundbreaking Docu-reality show Connected, in which five individuals of different ages and backgrounds were given a camera to capture the most intimate moments of their lives. Connected, which has been aired in 14 countries, garnered worldwide recognition and quickly became one of the most trending shows to watch. The award-winning show (Best Documentary Series in Denmark, Best Reality show in Ireland , best Docusoap Programming US, Best Docu-reality Israel) has become an iconic cultural phenomena and a prime example of the new type of hybrid programming that Koda is spearheading; combining the reality, drama and documentary genres in one.
In a world where content is endlessly accessible, the level of excitement viewers have come to expect is very high. In response, Koda offers a DNA of creativity, out of the box thinking and seamless navigation between a multitude of genres.
