Emily Greenman has a diverse work experience in the education field. In 2014, they worked as a student teacher at Wairau Intermediate School. The following year, they served as a 4th-6th grade Science Teacher at Disney II Magnet School. From 2015 to 2017, Emily worked as an Instructional Designer at Pilot Light, where they helped develop curriculum and activities related to healthy living. Starting in 2016, they became a K-8 STEM Specialist at Edgebrook Elementary School, where they developed a comprehensive STEM curriculum and implemented hands-on learning approaches. In 2020, Emily established their own business called STEMbyEM, in which they offered remote STEM courses and taught over fifty students worldwide. Currently, they are working at Kodable as a Teacher Success Coordinator.

Emily Greenman earned their Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Iowa, where they studied from 2010 to 2014.
