Kodama is the next evolution of furniture design and is based around movement - specifically the relaxed and rhythmic motion of the pendulum. Life requires movement.

Or first production line is the Kodama Zome. Based on the classic hanging pendulum motion, and expressed through the beautiful geometry of a zome. The Kodama Zome provides both the comfort and relaxation of motion, combined with an unparalleled aesthetic beauty. Unlike the chaotic motion or constricted feel of hammocks or porch swings - the Zome is expansive in feel and predictable in movement. This predictability engenders comfort.

The Zome is the flagship product line of Kodama, serving both the residential and Resort/Hospitality markets. Both the movement and the aesthetic of the Zome provide a unique and show-stopping addition to typical furniture choices. It is also used in therapeutic settings. Special needs schools and sensory focused programs have lauded the effects that the Zome have on anxiety with it’s natural capacity to calm and soothe.

Kodama created a new niche in the furniture market, and readies to release new designs for additional seating, loungers and beds. Kodama is furniture that moves you.
