Cole Garien has diverse work experience in the field of software development and engineering. Cole is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Koddi since January 2023.
Before joining Koddi, Cole held several roles at Paycom starting from February 2016. Cole started as a Software Developer and improved the efficiency of legacy systems through building scalable and automated processes. Cole also founded and facilitated department-wide book clubs to promote best practices in clean code and clean architecture. Later, Cole served as a Software Development Team Lead, leading multiple teams of developers and focusing on delivering high-quality software through automated testing and collaboration. In their final role at Paycom, they served as a Software Development Supervisor, prioritizing the growth and development of their team while also providing technical direction and leadership to ensure secure and stable software.
Prior to joining Paycom, Cole worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Central Oklahoma from May 2014 to December 2015. Cole also held the position of Full Stack Engineer at EMR Technical Solutions from December 2013 to December 2015.
Cole Garien attended the University of Central Oklahoma, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Cole completed their education at this institution in the year 2015.
