Kevin Yu

Kevin Yu has a diverse work experience starting with their current role as a Software Engineer at Kodex where they contribute to a portal that helps companies manage relationships and secure file transfers with government agencies. Prior to this, they worked at Emotive as a Lead Software Engineer, where they built internal analytics tools and led a team in developing a messaging domain service. At Emotive, they also served as a Senior Software Engineer, managing projects as a tech lead and designing systems for the core platform. Before joining Emotive, Kevin worked at Lockheed Martin as a Software Engineer and at Raytheon as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. Kevin also gained experience as an Engineering Intern at General Technical Services, LLC and held intern positions at American Society for Engineering Education and George Washington University during their college years. Throughout their tenure, Kevin has demonstrated proficiency in various technologies and tools including Typescript, NodeJS, React, Django, Flask, FastAPI, Python, Celery, Docker, Terraform, GitLab CI, and many more.

Kevin Yu completed their high school education at Century High School from 2009 to 2012. Kevin then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Maryland Baltimore County from 2012 to 2016.
