Samuel Heather has over 10 years of experience in the technology industry. In 2010, they founded Branon/Freedom Apps. In 2013, they were a Software Engineer Intern at Google. In 2014, they were a Technology Analyst Intern at Morgan Stanley. In 2015, they were a Fellow at Kairos Society and a Member of the Fall 2015 Class at Techstars. As part of their participation, their company received $120,000 in investment and partook in the 3-month mentor-driven accelerator programme. From 2017 to 2020, they worked at Morgan Stanley as a Technology Associate, where they had a hands-on role with recruiting and ran more than 50 graduate and lateral hire interviews. In 2020, they joined KodyPay as Chief Information Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and Chief Operating Officer. In their role, they conducted an asset-equity swap with IBM Affiliated TES Enterprise/Cognition Foundry for the use of IBM Linux One and Z systems to allow KodyPay to run on IBM Technology.
Samuel Heather began their education in 2005 at Truro School and graduated in 2012. Samuel then attended the University of York where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Computer Science in 2015. In addition, they obtained a Powerboat Level 2 certification from the Royal Yachting Association in June 2014.
