Sian Steggles

Sian Steggles has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2012 when they were employed as an Employability Resources Developer at the University of Southampton. In this role, they assisted with the strategy to increase employability skills and careers guidance within the faculty of Humanities, as well as creating printed materials with employability guidance. In 2013, Sian was employed as an Administrator (East Asia) at the University of Southampton, followed by a role as International Officer at Itchen Sixth Form College in 2014. In 2015, Sian was employed as a Country Development Manager at the University of Southampton, where they managed student recruitment and marketing within North America, provided enrollment and admissions expertise for the US and Canada, represented the University at conferences and exhibitions, managed and built relationships with Schools and overseas representatives, and facilitated strategic partnerships with institutions in the US and Canada. In 2021, Sian began working as a Business Development Manager (K-12) at Virtual Internships, where they managed International School Partnerships Strategy and Account Management of schools and K-12 facing agents, as well as supporting participating host companies and managing a small team. Sian is currently employed as an Account Executive, International Markets at Kognity, an EdTech company, where they work to create a global paradigm shift in learning efficacy at schools.

Sian Steggles completed a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Southampton between 2009 and 2012. In December 2020, they obtained an Award in Content Marketing from the IDM - Institute of Digital Marketing. Sian also holds a BA (Hons) certification.
