Richard Bailey

Richard Bailey has extensive work experience as a software developer, specializing in various roles throughout their career. Richard is currently working at Kohde.io as a software architect team lead since 2018. Prior to this, they worked at First Technology Digital as a specialist developer from 2015 to 2018, where they were involved in product development using Angularjs, REST API, Entity Framework & Azure Technologies. Richard also has experience in bot development for platforms such as Cortana, Slack, Skype, Kik, and Microsoft Teams. Before that, they worked at Kaizen IT as a specialist developer from 2013 to 2015. Richard has also held positions at Investec as a senior software developer in 2013, Qmuzik as a senior software developer from 2009 to 2013, Elko Systems as a senior software developer from 2005 to 2009, BMW as a software developer from 2005 to 2009, and Luuk Pty Ltd as a software developer from 2004 to 2005.

Richard Bailey obtained a National Diploma in Software Development from Tshwane University of Technology, which they attended from 2002 to 2005. Richard also completed high school at Voortrekkerhoogte from 1997 to 2001. In addition, they obtained additional certifications including "Shaping up with Angular.js" and "Try .Net MVC" from Code School in 2016, as well as "Try Python" from the same institution.
