David Finoli is a sports historian and author, recognized as the Best Local Author of 2018 by Pittsburgh Magazine. They have written or contributed to 33 books, focusing mainly on the history of sports in Western Pennsylvania, and have produced articles for various publications. Finoli has extensive experience in retail management, having served as an Assistant Manager at Kaufmann's and Kohl's, and as the Human Resource and Operations Manager at Kohl's since 2002. Currently, they are pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism at Duquesne University.
