James Ward serves as the EVP of Credit and Customer Service at Kohl’s, providing leadership and strategic direction for customer payments and gift cards to enhance sales and customer loyalty. Previously, James held various executive roles, including EVP/President of Credit at Nordstrom and VP of Credit at JCPenney. James has extensive experience in managing credit operations and developing credit policies, having worked with several leading retailers such as Belk and Sears. James earned a BS in Economics and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia, completing their degree in 1989.
